Re: Jim Arrol of Arrol Kitchens, Bourne End, Buckinghamshire
In summer of 2012 we decided to have our kitchen refurbished. It was extensive work that required, not only floor levelling, walls repositioning and ceiling adjustment, but also the formation of an open area around the existing roof windows. We had asked several local firms to view the property and make suggestions and give a quotation for the work. We had also extensively researched some of the possibilities ourselves. However, Jim and his wife Suzanne, came to view the property and came up with suggestions and practical solutions that no one else had.
The work created a lot of dust and disruption to our household. However, Jim and his team came early in the morning and worked long days to keep the disruption to a minimum. They were always considerate and friendly and kept us informed of how the work was progressing.
The end product was amazing. The kitchen/dining room and the ‘snug’ at the front of the house with the new floors, ceilings and layout were the envy of all who visited. The work was carried out to a very high standard and had included unique solutions to cover some of the problems that exist with an old house.
Unfortunately, we have decided to sell as our circumstances have changed. However, it was the ‘wow’ factor of the new kitchen that impressed the real estate agents and it was the kitchen that ultimately sold the house within 36 hours of going on the market.
Jim has frequently returned at our request if we had a problem or something needed to be adjusted. He was always friendly and willing to help. We had a problem with one of the taps two weeks ago and, although it is well out of warranty, he came to help sort it.
We highly recommend Arrol Kitchens because of their helpful, practical solutions and their honest work. They work to a very high standard and the results are amazing.
